A happy hour and social event for vegans, vegetarians, and the veg-curious.
Vegan drinkers come in all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities, and from all over the Baltimore and D.C. metro area. There’s no cover charge, and there are 100%-vegan snacks. And of course there are awesome vegan drinks! You do not have to drink alcohol to enjoy our events, many of our guests come just for the tasty food and great company! There are options for everyone and many of our locations are family-friendly.
Rissa has been part of Baltimore Vegan Drinks since 2012. As a vegan of 26 years, there's not much in terms of activism she hasn't done from grant writing to fostering animals to leafleting to bake sales to speaking at events and even co-organizing festivals. But Vegan Drinks holds a special place in her heart because it brings the community together. When she was a new vegan, the hardest piece of the puzzle was connecting with others who shared her point of view.
Rissa is the Senior Editor at Vegetarian Journal magazine, loves green tea, and frequently takes long walks in the woods with her dog, The Dude.
Bryan has been a part of Baltimore Vegan Drinks since the time that Rissa told him to start updating the website and sending infrequent email newsletters. As a vegan in the Baltimore area since 2005, Bryan feels very lucky to be a part of such a thriving vegan culture. Bryan hopes to continue supporting the Baltimore Vegan community as it enters the next phase of growth and change.
In his spare time, Bryan hangs out in Charles Village with his Baltimore babe, Megan, his two cats, Taco and Cholula (aka Lula, Lula bean, or Bean), and a lot of great vegan restaurants.
Learn the eerie history of the little town, complete with murder, mayhem, lost love, and even a doll hospital.
Group B is currently sold out.
Vegan Drinks is celebrating the re-opening of GREENER KITCHEN! Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the time.
